Visit frens and Watch Movie

A very nice Sunday today, although it's a bright and sunny but at least still got some wind breeze blowing... today spent almost the whole day with Paul kor... haha... but hey.... dun anyhow think huh... we just went to visit Jason in that Bright Vision hospital near Paul kor's house and follow by went down to Junction 8 first because Rebec is not convenient to receive us at her house as her dad's frens are coming over so we went to J8 to catch a movie and dinner first before heading down to her house...


So we went to watch this movie called : "Music and Lyrics"



This movie is about .........

Alex Fletcher is a washed-up '80s pop star who's been reduced to working the nostalgia circuit at county fairs and amusement parks. The charismatic and talented musician gets a chance at a comeback when reigning diva Cora Corman invites him to write and record a duet with her, but there's a problem--Alex hasn't written a song in years, he's never written lyrics, and he has to come up with a hit in a matter of days. Enter Sophie Fisher, Alex's beguilingly quirky plant lady, whose flair for words strikes a chord with the struggling songwriter. On the rebound from a bad relationship, Sophie is reluctant to collaborate with anyone, especially commitment-phobe Alex. As their chemistry heats up at the piano and under it, Alex and Sophie will have to face their fears--and the music--if they want to find the love and success they both deserve.


Overall this movie is nice I must say.... a retro movie but yet is all about romance and comedy... and quite touching at the end of the story... and the most funny is I thought very seldom got to see this name "Cora" being used in movies or even my frens around me got this name except one of my colleagues whose her name is Cora too... haha.. very conincident indeed... cos it surprise me that this movie happen to have a singer name "Cora" ... lolz.... will give this movie 3.5 stars upon 5...


so after movie, we went to Aijisen for our dinner and then head down to visit Rebec... saw her recovering well... and that's a good news.. wanted to drop by Richie's hse too as he stays so near Rebec... but he rejected us =( Richie.. I dun care ya... next time I must visit your hse... cos I want to see your cuite pie hamster Jack... haha.... =p

and after spending some time at Rebec's house, it's time for us to leave as it's not early also... so we both share a cab back home safely....
