Funfilled Saturday

Today had  a funfilled day for me... haha... in the afternoon after work, went down to Bugis with J first as she meet her sis there and I wait for my dearie knock off from work later on... so after waiting for some time, dearie finally knock off and rushed down to meet me...

 

As both of us still haven't had lunch yet, so we decided to eat @ McDonald as  I remembered I still have 2 coupons haven't use yet... and again... I became so fed up as dearie told me that the coupon I gave him cannot be used.. reason? not because this branch @ Bugis is not 24-hr indeed it is 24-hr... so now the reason is... they told him that this coupon can only be used in certain TIMING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WTF... what is all this about man.. this stupid McDonald.. print this kind of coupons for what... all the stupid rules... anyway, luckily today J passed me another 2 more KFC coupons to use.. end up we went to KFC to eat... aarrgghh..

 

but still, before we head to KFC.. we saw something interesting happening at the fountain there....

after watching enough of RA show, we went to KFC and enjoy our lunch as we really feel our stomach calling for food le... haha...

 

then we walked back to Bugis Junction and window shopping... and before reaching there... I saw something nice.. and took a snap of it...

 

 

it's an alley between two buildings... and I saw this beautiful staircases... with the sky color plus this rainbow like staircases...

wow... nice... hehe....

 

after window shopping for awhile.. dearie said he feel so sleepy.. and need some coffee... so we went to Food Junction there and have some drinks n relax....

 

Dearie bought me this drink... first time ever tried... Iced Milo with a scoop of Ice Cream... hmmm yummy....

 

while dearie had his coffee... looks like he really sleepy... haha...

 

while both of us enjoy our drinks... we start to play photo snapping again... haha..

 

 

end up dearie took these 4 photos secretly I also dunno... haha...

but is nice... I simply like it !!! haha....

after that, we went back to dearie's house for dinner and  I just started to watch this Taiwan series called - "换换爱" which heard from Elaine mei that this series is beri the nice de loh... haha...

Happy Mid-Autumn festival

Once a year, Chang-Er is busy at this festive season... and I think she is Chinese Santa Claus.. haha.. cause western people have Santa Claus... and chinese people have Chang-Er... haha... distribute Mooncakes instead of presents... lolx... don't you think so? haha....

this year mid-autumn is rather quiet for me... nothing or nowhere to celebrate... and I guess.. everyone do grow up... so it becomes nothing special to celebrate about... just eating and enjoying those mooncakes....

guess nothing really special about these mooncakes... is either sweet or salty... baked or non-baked.. expensive or cheap... big or small... traditional or modern type...

remember those days when we were young? we like to play lanterns and candles... those naughty ones will always burn their lanterns off and play with candles.. haha... and now more and more modern lanterns sell in the market... really envy these kids now... so "xin fu"

Eye-Opener

Just now in the afternoon went to meet up with my dear and we went to Bugis there and walk walk... Dear bring me to one of the shopping centre there near the OG shopping centre as he wants to get his hand beads bracelet repaired as the string has been broken... so we walked rounds and rounds of the shopping centre to find the shop that is cheap and can help to repair the bracelet... and finally... after walking so many rounds... dear decided to try this shop so he managed to get it done with a best deal... lol... like having some big business.. haha... but for me is an eye-opener... as I have seen so many gems.. stones.. Buddha status... wow... interesting...

then after that, we walked to Fu Lu Shou Centre and get his Buddha amulet (佛牌) cover changed to new ones... so we stepped to this shop which sell so many Buddha status... and seen few sales ppl changing the Buddha's covers so fast and neat... wow... is like they can close their eyes also can change lor... interesting..

but most interesting thing is... before we walked out the shopping centre, we went into another shop to see those big Buddha status.. and saw they got sell those wax "Lamas" monk status sitting down... wow... I tell you it's really look so real manz... even they can make their skin looks so real.. with those marks and wrinkle... when I first look at them, I was like got shocked to see why got small monk sitting inside the show case... but when I go nearer and take a closer look, they are all made of wax... but unfortunately, inside this shop can't take any photos.. if not I sure took one and show it to you guys...

and oh yeah.. another funny thing is... when we going to walked out the shopping centre.. guess who we saw?? haha.... we saw a "ah gua" (人妖) walking down the street... it's the same one which we saw on previous week when we were at Chinatown there having lunch... lolx... don't know is it so fate to meet her/him again or he/she is following my dear dear... hahahahhaa... sorry.. I didn't mean to make fun of them... but I mean this he/she is a beauty.. look pretty though... and very sexy with tattoos somemore hor.. so don't play play ya....

then after that, we feel hungry le.. and went to the nearby hawker centre and have our late lunch...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

we had Chicken Rice... haha... I had roasted chicken drumstick while my dear had white chicken wing.. it just taste so yummy... haha...

see my dear so enjoying drinking his warm soya bean drink which I bought for him de... hehehehe... but poor dearie still having cough... and yet he so stubborn still eat chicken... haiz....

p/s : above these pictures, I have actually used Windows Live Writer to insert in... and so cool lor... can even make some effects on the photos without using other program... I have actually sharpen these photos... wonder if you guys have realised it ??

A Cool New Program

Last night I have just installed this cool new program of "Windows Live"... that comes with 4 programs in it...

1. Windows Live Mail - that similar with normal Outlook Express but which will complies all your mailbox together at one look.. now, I can check all mails in one shot.. my 2 singnet mail box and my hotmail mail box.. somemore with it cool surface.. seems to me is like a beta version.. haha... cool...
2. Windows Live Messenger - different from old version is, with it cool surface.. other than can easily share backgrounds and more cute cute winks.. hmm don't think there is somemore new I can find so far...
3. Windows Live Photo Gallery Beta - a normal photo gallery program easily let you sort your photos at one shot... fix, crop, auto adjust your photos..
4. Windows Live Writer - lastly.. this is the program I feel the most excited one... haha.. cause I like to blog... so with this program I can easily publish my blog with no worries... now.. I don't have to log into blogger.. just click this Windows Live Writer.. I can now just publish my entries easily.. and furthermore... they have this side bar with insert hyperlink, picture, table, map, tags and video somemore... wow... cool.. I mean really cool..

 

guess no harm to try new stuff like that.... haha....

Strange...

Hmmm.. how come you all can't see what I see leh.... I use different font in my previous post... but to some feedback from you guys... said that it's also same normal font.. only in bigger size.... hmmmm... strange strange...

now I use back to normal fonts... see what happens now ???

Trying Out New MSN

WoW WoW..... guess what... I am now trying out the new version of msn... called "Window Live Messenger Version 2008"....

very cool leh... and I just install their some of the new stuff... now I can even using Windows Live Writer to update my blog manz....

ONE word can describe.. COOL !!!!

 

Cute Baby

Just found out that my cousin's wife has just borned a baby girl...



isn't she cute?? haha.... heard from my dad says she indeed very cute... normal babies will always close their eyes.. but this baby won't wor... instead she will keep looking at people around her... especially her daddy (my cousin)... hahaha.. what a cute baby girl..

Finally.. I have managed to think of some ideas to design the blog header for Dalicia... hahaha... as she hints to me that this line of words from a movie called " In the mood for Love "

QQ Rice.. does the Rice taste QQ ?

Just now went to Plaza Singapura with KC and J for dinner and window shopping after work... as KC introduce to us a new nice and healthy food snack to try out.. so 3 of us went over there to try out...

If you love those Japanese rice balls called onigiri, you have to try these rice balls.

QQ Rice started in Taiwan and has more than 300 franchises there, in New Zealand and Hong Kong.

The rice balls have landed here and I've just tried it today since KC recommend to us must try, and I realised that other than Plaza Singapura is their new outlet, at Square 2 Mall also have another outlet.

Oh dear. But I can't resist to try it as I saw their advtisement poster they hang up looks really yummy.... Good thing they are pretty healthy.

The concept is simple. You choose the kind of rice you want - purple rice, brown rice, red rice, Ice Lake gourmet rice from Canada or mixed grain rice, all kept steaming hot in wooden buckets.

Then pick five different fillings from a choice of 20-30? maybe? haha.. cos didn't really go and count how many types of fillings at the counter, and the guys behind the counter ball everything up neatly and wrap it in a little bag.

It's easy to make up a healthy rice ball if you pick the right fillings.

Today I just tried 2 different types of rice, brown rice mixed with wheat grain rice with the fillings of seaweeds, crabmeat, mushroom, vegetarian ham and spicy chicken floss... taste real good when you eat it while still warm... maybe becos is my first time eating this, so is kind of not really used to the taste of those brown rice... haha... and the chicken floss is really spicy..

I find that one rice ball is a good snack, and two make for a meal. They are priced at $3.20, $3.50 and $3.90, depending on the kind of rice you pick.

Feeling Moody

Today feel kind of moody... maybe is becos I can sense that someone is talking about me behind my back... ( not you all, is my colleagues )... I simply hate that kind of feeling... I am thinking if you so like to talk abt ppl behind ppl's back why you can't go other places and talk... instead she just walked over to my another colleague desk and gossip about me... I not very sure what their topic is about... but most likely is about me... of which about the incident just happen just now...

maybe I am just over sensitive... cos I hate ppl talking abt me behind my back... that's.. when I am present in that situation...

now.. I know why some of my driver colleagues don't really like to talk to some of my colleagues... cos they may also (like me) can sense that that person is talking abt them behind their back... so thats why they don't like to talk to them...

haiz... I AM JUST FEELING SOOOOOO MOODY NOW......

Busy Day

Today really super busy... since morning till the time knocking off also busy... becos J was on leave today.. so I have to cover her work again... making me run 2 desks to work... tired.. super tired...

hope tomorrow won't be that busy... becos... no more energy liao... but tomorrow J is coming back to work... yeah... no need to run 2 desks liao.. ha...

this afternoon got 2 air-con technicans came to service our office air-con... now so cooling... cold.. super cold...

now running out of ideas to do creative works... need more to link.... link link.. which made me change my blog skin colors again... ahahaha... but still.. no ideas coming up... hm... wonder... wonder where to get ideas...

Chinatown Light-up

Had a wonderful evening with dearie today... hee... this afternoon met up with dearie and we went to temple and pray pray first... before we head down to Chinatown there to walk walk...

before the night falls and light-up is like this... this ball should be the moon.. that one stand infront of that building is Chang-er... opposite side is Hou yi... but too bad.. can't take that Hou yi pic.. as we crossed over the road... seems to be too crowded... so didn't take the pic... haha...

Indian Festival under HDB estate

Really an "eye-opener" for me to see ppl celebrating Indian Festival at HDB estate... haha... today us usual meet up with dearie at Singapore Post there.. but before meeting him... I accompany my work mate KC for lunch first as dearie haven't reach yet... so me accompany KC to Subway as she wanna try their sandwich for the first time.. haha... nice choice.. as I also long time never eat le.. but I didn't eat that cos got to wait for dearie first... seeing KC eating her nice and big "6 inch" sandwich is really making me goes hungry.. hahahahah.... Oops.. did I sound little naughty here?? guess not... hahahaha....

so after KC finish her lunch, we went to shop for awhile at ThisFashion boutique... while me still waiting for dearie to come over...

after some time of waiting.. dearie finally come over le.. and I sms KC that I gtg and meet my dearie at McDonald there for our lunch finally... haha...

but then... feel so angry... why? becos I managed to get some coupons to use at McDonald... thinking of buying couple sets to save some money... instead... that counter auntie told me "Sorry Miss, this coupon cannot be used... only can used at McDonald 24-hr one"..... WTF... why that stupid McDonald got such rules one... aarrrgghhh... why they didn't print this RULE on their coupons super BIG enough for us to see leh... on their terms and conditions I never even see this rule printed on the coupons... manz... oh well anyway... I just bought 2 sets of normal EVM sets and gets 2 free extras.. arrrgghh... waste my time to cut that stupid coupons out n even think this can save alittle money.... stupid of me...

anyway after lunch, we went back to dearie house and got a chance to see this going on...

got Indians celebrating their festival... I don't know what they called it... forgotten about the name.. haha... nice decorations...

and also got ppl praying Indian God... me and dearie also go and pray pray... and also surprise also got Chinese Lion and Dragon dance over there too... cool....

New Restaurant Review

Just now after work, went out with my usual 2 colleagues KC and J to Bugis for window shopping and dinner... but in the end, it's only me who window shop.. and both of them did buy something when shopping around...

suppose to have dinner at Pasta Mania but too bad it's fully booked so

we went to try this new restaurant called -

" Wong Kok Char Chan Teng aka Hong Kong Restaurant "

The Menu looks nice... but seems quite similar with Xing Wang HK Cafe and Central HK Cafe... guess all HK restaurant menu looks about the same... haha...

inside the restaurant looks big and comfortable... except that the aircon is cold.. haha...

this drink is KC's one.. she ordered Iced-Lemon Tea... haha... I like the straw... why? cos it's PINK color... haha... and is cute... so slim the straw... think gonna take time to finish the whole drink.. hahahah...

and me? I ordered this ... HongKong Royal Milkshake Tea...

taste nice though... not too sweet...

and lastly... my main course...

my main course is spaghetti with cheese, fish, prawns and crab meat with some curry sauce inside... for this I have to wait about 15-20 mins... omg!!!! and the taste is just so-so only.. nothing special... too bland the taste...

Overall , I must say is, though atmosphere is nice and comfortable... but then... food wise.. hmm.... so-so only... too bland the taste... service wise... ok lah though not very attentive... other than that.. I find it not really worth the price for it... for the cost of almost S$60 for 3 person... one person is about S$20... compare with Xing Wang... I still like Xing Wang food rather than this Wong Kok food... Shall give them a 3/5

p/s: this restaurant is located at Level 3 , inside Parco Bugis Junction shopping centre... btw, the food court from their basement has been shifted to level 3, and they have new restaurants other than this one on level 3 too... just for your info only...

Yummy Food

What a bloated Sunday I had enjoyed today.... hahaha... this afternoon went out with dear to this Lavendar Food Centre for our lunch... there have so many stalls selling all sort of yummy food...

finally I decided to have Korean food since I have been longing to try again the Korean hot stone bowl rice... my dear also have the same food as me... haha...

can see my dear is buying our lunch ma? hehehe... today he so funny... he actually wear the shirt I bought for him... haha... nice nice... hee...

and next, I also buy this pancake which I thought only Tampines there have cos Gingy recommend me to try this special pancake is at her area there but to our surprise, over here also have wor... Ah jie... I finally tried this le... hahahaha...

this is our lunch... Korean Hot Pot Rice (chicken flavour) S$6 - comes with a bowl of soup and some appetizer...

I can say it is very delicious... haha... can't be compared those in food court... but still... the one in Sakae Sushi one is the best after all... this can say is good enough if compare with those food court one... I shall give 4/5...

finally... this special mini pancake... is nice also... they got sell a total of 10 different flavours... and mine is cheese with peanuts... so yummy... haha.... and also it's cheap.. all under S$2... shall give it 4/5 too...

next time shall try other flavours too.... yummy....

Recently, I start to learn to design blog header... as I always want something different from others.. so I keep changing my blogskin la, colors la, and finally I get to learn to design my own blog header... cool.. I never expect myself to learn this... haha...

World Food Fair 2007

Today after work as usual went to meet up my dear then suppose to go down Orchard as dear need to settle something over there but ends up we went to CityLink Mall to settle his stuff as there got that machine also... haha...


so after finish his stuff, as both of us still haven't had lunch yet so we decided to go to SuntecCity there as I remember there is this food fair going on this weekends...

and as usual... when it comes to free things... Singaporeans are always the one who will rush to there and grab it... so indeed... as today is a weekend Saturday.. this place is packed with full of ppl... but most of them are aunties and uncles.. haha.... although admission is free... but I realised inside the food wasn't really that cheap lor... compare to outside, I think I rather go and buy and eat at outside lor... cos you know, inside these stalls ya... their food hor is all served in small portion de lor... then hor.. their price hor is same as you buy from outside foodcourt or hawker centre lor... imagine S$2 or S$3 for just a small bowl or plate of food to eat?? manz... I rather go outside and eat lah... more worth it lor... somemore so little tables and chairs for ppl to sit and eat... then those ppl keep squeezing here and there is like there is no tomorrow like that.. gosh.. making me wanna faint liao....

in the end, both of us went out quickly and go outside eat... but before that, saw something catches my eyes... there is bridal exhibition going on also... thought of just go in n see see look look only but who knows comes this salesman uncle asked us to sit down and hear what they are having promotions on wedding package.. so had no choice but to just sit there n hear this pretty young lady recommend us their wedding package... after hearing for so long (making my stomach keep on asking for food) and my mood is getting from good to bad... cos I already feel so hungry and yet my dear is like not making any move to go off and we still sit there and listen to that saleslady keep talking... sianz...

then after that, finally, we thought ok already can go off.. suddenly another uncle join us and continue talking... I was like.. come on....give me a break... anyway, this time I made the move and told them we wish to consider it first and walked off quickly...

then we walked to Marina Square as I want to buy Creative ear piece as my original one has spoilted liao so before that we have to settle our hunger first... while on the way there, I keep asking dear what he wants to eat.. but everytime I ask he keep saying anything lor anything lor... making me even more angry... I feel like eating this one but he mind that one, I feel like eating that one but he mind this one... mind here mind there.. I became fed up, and didn't want him hold my hands and kept quiet also... and I begin to walk where I like.. and he follows behind... (infact I'm still looking for food to eat!!! cos stomach keep calling me... arrgghh)

then suddenly, there is this lady approach me and introduce her new shop which is selling big size clothes for ppl like us... haha.. good.. now I know where to get my clothes liao... yippee... and she gave me a VIP card without me to buy anything... WOW.. cool...

then after that, I still continue searching for food.. and ends up settle at this...

we ordered combo set... and guess what?? their drinks is super BIG lor... so wasted that we end up didn't drink finish... haha....

this is our late lunch.... 2 combo set... yummy... I like their fries and onion rings.. so special and big... lolx....

after finish our meal, we head to Creative stall and buy my ear piece and then went back to his house for dinner...
