Today only spent so little time with dearie.... so sad.... feel that time is always not enough for us... 1 week only see him 2 days.... Sat and Sun... so now Sat he have to work half day or sometimes off day... but like today he got to work... =( and worked till 4pm plus going to 5pm.... then just now only met him for dinner at 7pm plus as he took bus to Square 2 but he miss that bus stop... after dinner he wanted to go home early so he sent me to the bus stop and waited with me for my bus to come...

as for tomorrow Sun.... he got to go for course... so also only meet him for dinner..... sob sob....

really wish can spend more time with dearie.....

anyway.... today I went to Square 2 for shopping.... bought a pair of shoes and 3 blouses and 2 long pants and 1 three quarter jeans..... all for work... except the jeans for casual....

oh well.... guess that's all for today's entry.....

You're CONFIRMED

This morning boss called me into his office.... early morning being called in is either good news or bad news.... *scared scared* heart beats racing fast...

luckily is good news... muahahaha.... the reason why boss called me in is to pass me my confirmation letter... yippeee..... and I was told that my salary also got minor adjustment but will be in next month only as they can't rush to adjust on time... but it's ok for me... I arleady feel contented when I got my confirmation letter... hehe....

today weather so cooling... just came back from lunch.... getting my trousers all wet... and office air-con also cold... luckily I got bring my jacket to work today... wahahaha....

now my work place is so cooling already.... no more warm warm hot hot... yipppeee....

Reckless Bus Driver

I'm now URGING SBS Transit to please conduct ALL your bus drivers on ROAD SAFETY when driving...

The reason why I'm writing this post is because just now when I took Bus no. 70 around 7pm plus... is a single deck bus... with not so crowded passengers... on the way back to my home... this bus driver I dunno how he gets his licence... drive like hell... keep on stepping on brake suddenly... making all passengers can't stand or sit properly... need to grab hold of the pole at all times... luckily I got a seat at the end of the bus... but I even have to hold on to the support in order not to fall off from my seat...

this is my first time I ever sit in a bus with worry...

at the back there... I had saw some passengers almost want to fall down when they want to alight from bus cos this STUPID bus driver keeps on stepping on that BLOODY BRAKE!!

and when it's my turn to alight... there is this guy passenger can't stand it anymore and went infront to say that bus driver... to ask him to drive more careful... don't keep on stepping brake causing all passengers can't balance themselves... what if there is elderly passengers on board?? what if there is pregnant mums on board?? what if there is children on board??

and this stupid bus driver still dare to give STUPID excuses lor!! What in bad mood la... what traffic jam la.... HEY, come on!! YOU're holding several life on your hand ok... PLEASE don't give such BLOODY excuses ok!!!

Please put yourself in other peoples' shoes and think... if you're one of the passengers and what would you feel then??

sometimes I really can't stand these kind of bus drivers... with no considerations when driving...

Lunch @ NYDC

Yesterday afternoon went to Bugis to meet Elaine mei, Ter, Paul kor, Rebec and Stella for lunch together and also to celebrate Rebec's belated Birthday...

We went to

enjoying the food and our chatting and taking pics...

I had this baked pasta for my main course... we all ordered as set... so there comes with a bowl of soup plus a glass of drink... we also ordered 2 side dishes as appetitizer...

and not to forget before we left the restaurant, I grab this chance to take a snap of this 2 cuties... hehehe

too bad can't bring home... haha...

after that, we all went seperate home and  I went to meet my dearie...

 

p/s: lucky today my new office area has done up... can start work already... yeah.... but I wasn't really get used to it leh... the new side of sitting, my new neighbour, the new way of coming in and out and also "new" toilet... haha...

What is the meaning of Charity?

After reading CurryEgg 's blog about that China girl's video, I just feel that these ppl are really boh liao... instead of giving a helping hand, they choose to critize other ppl or talking nonsense... just like recently that basketball star 'Yao Ming' of his being critized for being so stingy that he only donate by this much to China Sichuan becoming a hot topic on net...

I mean isn't this a charity?? why must these ppl go and critize those who making donation?? I wonder these ppl really got nothing to do and being boh liao to say ppl stingy... and hey, I am not helping Yao Ming to say words but I just feel that doing charity is the thoughts that count not by donating this much that much means oh you're being so generous to donate this big sum of money... this is not the principle of doing charity.. this is called "how lian" (being proud) to show off you're the richest...

I am sure Yao Ming got his own reasons to donate this much... not that he's being stingy or what... now I feel that he's being "forced" to donate more because of those critizism that put on internet...

and also last few days I read about Straits Times newspaper about those big stars like Andy Lau, Jay Chou, SHE, etc... on how much they donate... is making me to wonder how would their fans feel when they saw their fav idols only donate this much or that much... I mean why should these reporters put the amount out... they can always say "Ppl like XXX, XXX and XXX have joined in to giving a helping hand on Charity" isn't putting words like these would make these big stars feel better or rather they would feel embarassed because they saw this this this donate so much while he himself or she herself only donate that much...

somehow I feel that what is the real principle of doing Charity.... instead of they think is the thoughts that counts but now is like "being forced" to do Charity....

Sushi Feast

Haha.... today had a sushi lunch with dearie @ Bugis Sakae Sushi... enjoying our delicious lunch and having fun of taking pics... but too bad my dearie didn't want to take pic... so no choice just took 2 of the precious pics for you all.... hahahaha

Final Moving

today is the final moving for my dept to move our stuff to new working area and shift our pc, cabinets, chairs to other place first... next monday will move our things back to new working area... excited.... can't wait to see how is our new working area like... I meant I already see the place but I haven't see the final outcome yet...

legs getting pain again due to standing and walking for long hours... but still... rather happy though... cause this is my first time that all of us can knock off early... woohoo.... we knock off at 4 plus cause the contractors all coming to tear and move our desks and cubibes to the new area....

its really amazing to see them work really fast.... just a few steps those desks already can pack n go... wow... truely amazing... haha.... maybe I mountain tortise lah... never see these ppl work before so thats why lor... hehe

hmmm really hoping that by next monday we can start our work liao....

Move n Shift, Move n Shift

Today was really a tiring day... Why? Because today we all in office start to pack our things and stuff for the moving and shifting work area to another area.... now then I know moving house or moving work area is such tiring...

tomorrow is the last day to work in my area... sob sob.... will miss that area.... haha.... and next monday will start in new area.... but cross finger that next monday that new area is ready for work... hope can be ready for us.... as month end closing is coming soon!!!!! gosh.... better now crossing my finger.... XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX lolx.....

oooh.... wish my house got i-squeeze.... can help me to massage my both foots.... oooohhhh so tiring...

Color meaning...

As you know, i've just made some changes... on my blog again... hehe... wanted to add alittle bit of color on my blog to make it look more warmer... as I changed my blog to GREY is to mourn for those victims for Sichuan and Myanmar... as for light red color is to bring warm, love and support to them...

somehow the colors look matching for my blog header... hehe... nice nice... shall keep it this way till the world be peaceful again...

Lunch Dating...

Today still on holiday mood... don't really wish to work... hehe... but today got free lunch so it's still not bad lah... hehehe...

This afternoon had lunch dating with my colleagues, supervisor and boss... at this Hotel Grand Mercure Roxy @ Roxy Square... had lunch buffet at this restaurant called "FEAST @ EAST", it's an international buffet... but not as many kind of food as Pariss International Buffet to compare with... but still their food is nice too.... service also good...

the whole Finance dept first time having lunch together... haha... and we sit separate into 3 tables with 3 different teams separate sitting too... reporting team, AR team and AP team, all mixed on each table... lucky me and my supervisor sit on same table together with my boss too.. haha...

tried all kind of food there... but too bad I can't eat seafood... but I did tried their fried oyster omelette... nice nice... first time ever see buffet got this.. haha... and also they got durian cake and durian paste... cool.... really bring out Singapore style...

all of us eat untill so full... but yet enjoyable, cause we did chat along the way while eating... boss said the reason why have to sit separate is to communicate with each other and know each other more.... and I did get to know my boss and my another guy colleague more thru the chatting... haha.... now then I know both of them can be also humorous... actually my boss he may look abit fierce.. but when u get to know him he's quite a friendly guy after all... same with my guy colleague who also joined in earlier than me 1 month...

after our fulfilling lunch and enjoyable chit-chatting, we head back to office to work again...

first time having this kind of lunch dating is really enjoyable... hope there will be more to come... hehehehe....

p/s: today is also me and dearie first year anniversary... though I should be happy... but somehow... I can't be happy when I see those people keep on suffering.... just now when I watched morning tv news about the updates on Sichuan, China earthquake.. they reported that they found a man who is still alive and being trapped under walls... when a lady reporter passed him a phone and called his wife to say he's fine and he will be alright and not to worry... but then.... the next minute, when the rescuers managed to pull him out, it's been too late, that man had just passed away...... at this moment, I feel like crying.... my eyes are teary... seeing this in real life is such a torturing... I feel that we are very fortunate to live on... I don't know what we can do for them but I really hope that for those who are able to help, pls help.... pls help to donate whenever you can for these people in Sichuan, China and Myanmar....

 

I strongly URGING those RICH people to really stand out and help the needy ones.... I bet you will have good karma if you can offer to help... please....

Go GREEN... Save Earth...

Pls... pls... pls don't blame me... I know I am crazy on this... I know I am very very frickle-minded on this... but pls don't blame me for keep changing my blog skin again and again... lolx... today I've been so down that I keep change and change my blog skin till I fed up and use simply just this style... Go GREEN.. I tot... good for eyes too... and is also feel like saving Earth...

just now saw from TV news that Sichuan still having earthquake again today... gosh.... I nearly cried when seeing them in this state... saw a woman being saved by those rescuers... feel that my eyes being watery... feel so sorry and so worry for them...

now is even more challenging for those ppl to do rescuing... hope they can save more life....

and also Myanmar is facing rice problem... due to that disaster brought those rice plants being spoilt... now if they don't clear the mess and re-grow rice in 7 weeks time, ppl like Philippines and other countries may have getting rice problem... cos these few days, the rice pricing keep on rising up... and other things also price up.... and that will be very difficult for those poor families to survive... not to mention we, Singapore to survive too....

feel so sad.... sad.... Earth is dieing... Life is getting harder and harder... plus we all still have to face those natural disasters which may coming up.....

Will we able to survive in the end??

Was quite saddened by the 2 recent disasters happened these few days.... so my mood also kind of down.... saw China - Sichuan never give up hope to search for surviors made me feel that there is miracle... but when I saw Myanmar government reject help from other countries made me feel kind of angry... how can a government be so selfish to let his people live their own and don't let others helping them to go thru this and clear off the mess...

Even China is accepting Japan's help and not to mention those history wars... but why is Myanmar not accepting other's help?? dun think they have any wars with other countries...

I just don't understand these government their thinking... 2 different countries yet their thinking is also different minded....

Hope everything will be back to normal soon.......

Yippee..... today is Friday... long weekends for us.... Saturday and Sunday no work..... and next Monday is a Public Holiday for us.... cause is Vesak day.....

Yesterday I just made a donation for China earthquake victims as my company had a part on this donation to China thing...

I just hope this coming Vesak day will be a peaceful one for us.... Amitaba....

Stock-Take Day

Today and tomorrow are stock-take days.... woo... this is my first time ever attend stock-taking... haha... excited....

but me will only be involved tomorrow Saturday... which means I have to go back office tomorrow.... sob sob.... stock-taking will be started at 9am sharp.... wooo... have to wake up early on weekends has become lazy for me liao... cos ever since I joined JOS, I never have to work on Saturday.. haha... and I feel very fortunated already... muahahaha...

anyway... shall be well prepared to stand for long hours as I guess stock-taking is quite tiring though... keep counting and counting.... and most important is cannot count wrong somemore... wooo feel pressure now.. haha...

its been a long time since I ever saw Andy Lau on movie.... was quite surprise to see Hong Jin Bao also got act in this story... although  I don't really go for this kind of wars story for movies... but still once a blue moon is ok for me... hahahaha....

Chocolate.... Do U like Chocolate?

No..... I am not talking about edible chocolate... What I am talking about now is a Thai movie called "Chocolate"

Latest movie that will only be released on 15th May 2008 in Singapore... but I have just watched finish online... heehee...

This story is about....

Yakuza Masashi and his Thai lover Zin are forced to part when Masashi is sent back to Japan, leaving Zin in Bangkok as a single mother to their autistic daughter, Zen. Despite her condition, she is blessed with extreme agility and picks up Muay Thai by watching television programs and from observing the training sessions at the Muay Thai academy next door. Zen becomes an obsessive fighter who excels at catching fast-flying objects. When Zin is diagnosed with cancer, Zen has to fight her way to raise funds for her mother's treatments.

 

I can say that this story is quite touching and exciting... especially seeing a young girl like her fighting like Jackie Chan or Bruce Lee... haha... quite funny though.... but the sad part is her mother had died in the end... leaving herself with her father alive...

shall give this movie 3 stars upon 5....

by the way.... I just happen to realise one thing about this young actress...

Do you think that this "Chocolate" girl looks like Tarcy Su (苏慧伦) ? not 100% alike but also got 50% alike?? don't you think so??

Koi Fish

Today was a fun-filled day... cos me and dearie went to Singapore Expo there to visit my uncle Allan's Koi fish exhibition cum competition over there... heard from my dad that this time was the biggest competition that included all Asia Koi Fish companies to participate this competition...

and my uncle's company had won a few of the awards and trophy too... cool... but every year they always got win some.. so not really surprise me...

after finish seeing all these Koi fish... we went to visit other halls... there is MPH booksales, Harvey Norman sales, Metro sales and Home Decor and furniture exhibition....

in the end, at Metro sales, I bought pens for work, and new pillow and bolster and protectors for myself... my own bed... yeah...heehee...

Yesterday Labour day went to catch this "Iron Man" movie with dearie at Shaw Balestier...

I tell you.. this show is damn COOL lor.... from starting till end all so damn cool man.... and I like their high tech... only one word can describe.... "WOW" is even more high tech than James Bond 007 ok...

well... last night was exciting... cos after work me and dearie went to attend my uncle's 60th birthday dinner @ Yio Chu Kang Grassroots Community Club there... time flew so fast... didn't know that Uncle Allan already reach 60.. haha... and my dad already 58 !! wow !!! and now Uncle Allan already become Grandpa.. haha.. as my cousin had a baby girl earlier on... hmmm wonder when is my dad's turn to be a Grandpa... muahahahaha....

introduced dearie to some of my relatives... haha... and this is my first time see dearie wear so smart... heehee... peach button blouse with black pants and black shining shoes... hahahaha... when dinner going to end soon, Uncle Allan still got give us an Ang Bao for good luck... haha... after dinner we all went back home seperately..
